Hand Made Advent Calendar
Make a Hand Made Advent Calendar
Advent Calendars (also known as Countdown Calendars) have come a long way since the days when the people of Germany used to light a candle every day to mark the progression to the Advent.
Today, Advent Calendars in many forms are a tradition in many homes as youngsters eagerly remove their daily candy or gift as December 25 approaches.
This Advent Calendar is easy to make and economical as well. It's made with a felt or cardboard backing and trimmed with colored papers. Decorate with Christmas ribbon, buttons, stickers or anything else you have handy.
This craft project is easy to make when you use the video tutorial described below.

Cone-Shaped Christmas Tree
Why not make a few cone-shaped Christmas or holiday trees? They're so easy to make using poster paper, colored paper and a bit or ribbon to decorate. Use them as the centerpiece on your table, to sell at craft fairs or to decorate home, school or office. They're so easy that they make good Christmas crafts for kids -- but may be too complex for younger children.
Here's a special tip : Craft stores are selling spray-on snow. Its actually dimensional glue with product added to resemble snow. It would be a great addition to these trees.

Hanging Paper Snowflakes
Hanging Snowflakes
This may be the easiest Christmas craft project you'll come across. These delightful hanging snowflakes are made with K and Company's Swell Noel Snowflake Kit. Your local craft store may carry the kit or you can purchase it online.
The kit contains numerous punch-out snowflakes in various shapes and colors. You assemble them as desired, using dimensional adhesives, then trim with the beads and rhinestones that are included in the kit.
Poke a tiny hole through one prong of the snowflake, thread a string or ribbon through and hang. They're truly beautiful.
